DR BRIGID CORRIGAN MBBS FRACS (PLAS)

Dr Corrigan is a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon for Royal Perth Hospital with a subspecialty interest in cosmetic and recontructive breast and hand surgery. Dr Corrigan is also accredited at St John of God Hospital, Subiaco, Hollywood Private Hospital, the Mount Hospital and Cambridge Day Surgery.
Brigid completed her plastic surgery training in Perth and was awarded her FRACS in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the beginning of 2008. Following this Brigid undertook further post fellowship training in Ireland, England and Melbourne. During this time she completed a 12 month plastic surgery fellowship in Oxford, UK, with an emphasis on breast reconstruction, hand and microvascular surgery. On her return to Australia she completed a six month advanced aesthetic surgery fellowship at the Melbourne Institute of Plastic Surgery, prior to returning to Perth.
Brigid has been actively involved in Interplast Australia and has been on voluntary plastic surgery missions to Tanzania (2010) and will be travelling to Tanzania later in the year.

Dr Corrigan is committed to the training of future Plastic and reconstructive surgeons, as well as undergraduate teaching. Dr Corrigan has been involved in clinical research and has publications in plastic surgery journals.
