HANDOC offers a comprehensive service for the acute management and rehabilitation of hand and wrist injuries in Western Australia.
Centrally located in Subiaco, HANDOC is comprised of six reconstructive hand surgeons who are supported by a specialist team of nurses, hand therapists, occupational physicians and rehabilitation providers.
Our fully integrated service encompasses an initial medical assessment, which can be accessed 24 hours a day, specialist hand surgery, microsurgery and reconstructive surgery, performed in a private hospital setting.
We also provide essential post operative therapy and rehabilitation to assist patients with recuperation and regaining flexibility, strength and movement. HANDOC focus on getting our patients back to work, thereby reducing Lost Time to Injury (LTI).

Following surgery, HANDOC’s multidisciplinary approach to patient rehabilitation is aimed at promoting a rapid return to function, and includes a range of modern therapies, exercises and treatments to help reduce pain, regain movement, and build flexibility and strength.
Our customised patient return to work programs focus on reducing Lost Time Injury (LTI) in the workplace and facilitate the complete rehabilitation and management of hand injuries to restore function, enabling patients to return to work as soon as possible.
Surgeons
HANDOC’s surgeons possess a wealth of international experience having undergone extensive training in all aspects of hand surgery. Their deep understanding of reconstructive principles enables them to optimally restore function and form to patients with hand and wrist trauma.
All HANDOC Surgeons are members of the Western Australian Hand Surgery Society and the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons. They operate out of all of the major public and private hospitals in Western Australia.
