What is a neck lift?
A neck lift is a surgical procedure to improve the appearance of the neck and reduce the signs of ageing and weight loss.
When is a neck lift desirable?

How is a face lift performed?
A range of neck lift procedures is available. The procedure recommended by our plastic surgeon depends on the muscle tone, skin elasticity and body fat in the patient’s neck area.
Depending on the desired effect, the patient may have one or more different neck lift procedures performed during the same operation. A procedure may take between one and three hours, depending on the amount of surgery required.
Will the procedure leave any scars?
Most neck lift procedures require incisions. Whenever possible, the surgeon makes the incisions within the skin’s natural folds so that scarring will be less noticeable.
What results can I expect?
After neck lift surgery, many patients report that the neck and jaw line look about five to 10 years younger. The results of a neck lift typically last up to 10 years, however, your surgeon is the best person to determine whether your expectations are achievable.
When can I resume normal activities?
Most patients feel well enough to return to work within two weeks. Avoid sports or other strenuous activities for at least three weeks. Complete healing and recovery may take a few months.
